    Therapeutic Style

I consider myself a warm but direct therapist. I am able to quickly pick up on what is not said in the therapy room and approach this with curiosity. I love throwing in humor and making therapy 'fun' when appropriate. I tell my clients my goal for them is to look forward to their therapy session, while also knowing they can be challenged at their pace.

    What Makes Me Unique

I am a clinician and therapist at heart, but I am also a clinical supervisor and group practice owner before the age of 30. I love to be creative in this work. I also love running grief groups and coming up with new ideas and ways to make the therapy room modern, effective and safe.

Coping with “Invisible Grief” During the Holidays

Grief is complicated, complex and heavy. As a grief therapist and an active griever myself, I know how difficult the holidays can feel especially when you are coping with disenfranchised grief, or “invisible grief” as I like to call it. After a while, all grief feels invisible in western culture, we barely acknowledge grief, even though it is a natural part of life and something we all go through. However, there is some grief that we are truly given no tools for, and it feels like we do not have any space at all to grieve.
