Therapeutic Style
One thing clients can count on with me is that I show up with calm, and grounded presence. I’m deeply attuned, fully human, and able to hold space with authenticity and integrity. My way of working is shaped by years of living and practicing overseas, building a multicultural, out-of-the-box blended family, and choosing authenticity over performance in every part of my life. I use my love of storytelling and oral history to understand your story, weaving in the lessons I’ve gathered across cultures to bring clarity, connection, and compassion. I name what others avoid while holding space with warmth and emotional intelligence. My worldview is shaped by culture, ritual, complexity, contradiction, and the beautiful paradoxes that make us human. I welcome those contradictions—they help us stop living by expectation and start getting curious about what’s happening around us, between us, and within us. Clinically, I integrate EMDR to support healing at the nervous-system level, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help clients access the protective, wounded, and wise parts within them. As a Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator, I bring a grounded lens of courage-building, shame resilience, and wholehearted living into the work. I meet each person where they are, helping them uncover root causes, move through discomfort, and communicate with honesty. I show up as both clinician and human—intuitive, transparent, thoughtful, and profoundly relational—inviting clients into work that is transformative rather than performative. I create a space where clients feel both challenged and supported as they face hard truths, build awareness, and take decisive action toward real change.
What Makes Me Unique
I bring a multidimensional impact to the community—clinically, creatively, and as a leader grounded in lived experience. My story, my years abroad as a social worker, my travels, and my daily life inside a multicultural family full of big personalities and quirks all give me a global lens on relationships, resilience, and human behavior. I lead with integrity, emotional clarity, and a commitment to building authentic connection—whether in the therapy room, in community spaces, or in collaborative projects. Creativity is one of my core values—expressed through movement, pottery, aesthetics, and a refusal to conform—which expands what healing, expression, and belonging can look like. In outreach, I bridge cultures, empower families, and spark conversations that matter. I don’t just contribute to the community—I help shape it with intention, depth, and a fiercely authentic voice.

How to Start Advocating for Your Child at Any Age or Stage
Whether your baby was born early or full-term, parenting is a constant process of discovery. Even now, six years after I gave birth to my daughter, I tell her, “Sweetie, you and mommy are both learning on the job.” Some children hit their milestones effortlessly. Others need a little (or a lot) of extra support along the way. What matters most isn’t where your child starts; it’s how you respond when they need someone in their corner. Whether you’re navigating challenges now or simply want to feel more confident supporting your child in the future, this blog is for you. Advocating for your child isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about being prepared to ask questions, trust your instincts, and show up in ways that will help your child flourish.
