Therapeutic Style
My approach is highly warm and structured. I blend approaches such as DBT and ACT effectively. I am attentive and consistently considering the patient's presentation with respect to fit for the treatment we are doing together. I put myself in the friendly 'coach' role and am deeply empathetic. My sessions are psychoeducation-forward and a am flexible in my approach to exposure. I send emails about psychological concepts (links to articles) after almost every session. I try to target a measurable behavioral goal in each session for between-session work.
What Makes Me Unique
I bring a blend of clinical specialization, leadership experience, and community-focused engagement to the collective. Clinically, my work centers on evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety, tic disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on parent involvement, intensive treatment models, and culturally responsive care. As Chair of the Florida Psychological Association’s Continuing Education Committee, I support statewide professional development and create opportunities for psychologists to learn, connect, and grow. I also contribute nationally as an Advisory Board Member for Owl Therapy and through ongoing consultation, training, and outreach to pediatric practices, schools, and community partners.
