Therapeutic Style
My style is attentive, relational, and deeply trauma-informed. I work with adults and couples who want both depth and practicality, integrating somatic and polyvagal principles to help you understand your nervous system and build stronger emotional regulation. Sessions are collaborative, focused on helping you slow down, notice what your body is communicating, and shift long-standing patterns with clarity and intention. For clients with neurodivergence, I take a strengths-based, affirming approach, helping you understand how your brain works, reduce shame, and build systems that support your natural rhythms. The work blends insight and practical tools, with a focus on increasing presence and safety in your body, so you can feel more grounded, connected, and aligned in your daily life.
What Makes Me Unique
I bring a collaborative, creative leadership style shaped by years of directing and consulting with large multidisciplinary teams across forensic, community, and academic settings. I’ve helped design and launch new programs, supported organizations through complex clinical challenges, and mentored clinicians in building trauma-informed, regulation-focused practices. As a university instructor at multiple institutions, I specialize in translating complex psychological concepts into clear, accessible teaching, supporting colleagues in deepening their clinical work and integrating new ideas with confidence. I value thoughtful dialogue, shared wisdom, and contributing to communities where clinicians can learn from and strengthen one another.

How to Start Advocating for Your Child at Any Age or Stage
Whether your baby was born early or full-term, parenting is a constant process of discovery. Even now, six years after I gave birth to my daughter, I tell her, “Sweetie, you and mommy are both learning on the job.” Some children hit their milestones effortlessly. Others need a little (or a lot) of extra support along the way. What matters most isn’t where your child starts; it’s how you respond when they need someone in their corner. Whether you’re navigating challenges now or simply want to feel more confident supporting your child in the future, this blog is for you. Advocating for your child isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about being prepared to ask questions, trust your instincts, and show up in ways that will help your child flourish.
