Therapeutic Style
My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I hold a steady, grounded presence in the room, and I work with clients in a way that is both deeply compassionate and genuinely accountable. I’m not here to just listen passively or offer surface-level support. I help people slow down, identify the patterns that are keeping them stuck, and learn to respond to themselves and others with greater clarity, emotional regulation, and intention. While I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, creative expression, and trauma-informed mind-body work, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I meet clients exactly where they are and work with them to build insight and skills at a pace that feels safe, honest, and sustainable. I pay close attention to how someone speaks, moves, reacts, and protects themselves emotionally. Together, we explore what those patterns are trying to accomplish and how to shift them in a way that supports growth instead of survival. Clients often describe my approach as grounding, clarifying, and supportive in moments of stuckness. My goal is to help people feel more connected to themselves, more confident in their choices, and more capable of building the relationships and lives they want.
What Makes Me Unique
I bring a blend of clinical depth, grounded leadership, and a collaborative presence to this community. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, CBT, and creative expression, with a strong focus on helping clients move from emotional reactivity into clarity and aligned action. I have a steady, measured style that helps clients feel safe enough to explore difficult internal territory without becoming overwhelmed. As a Co-Founder and Clinical Co-Director of Root & Rise Clinical Specialists, I have experience building supportive clinical environments where therapists can grow, learn, and feel both competent and connected. I provide thoughtful supervision, case consultation, and mentorship that emphasizes ethical practice, reflective decision-making, and sustainable clinical pacing. I also enjoy community-building and outreach. I value collaboration over competition, and I’m intentional about fostering relationships with professionals across wellness, healthcare, and creative disciplines. My goal is always to contribute to spaces where clinicians feel supported, clients feel genuinely held, and the work remains human, grounded, and meaningful. I bring steadiness, compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to helping both clients and clinicians flourish in a connected, values-aligned community.

Mom Guilt & the Holiday Season: How to Slow Down When Everything Speeds Up
The holidays are supposed to feel magical, twinkling lights, excited kids, cozy traditions. But for so many moms, the “magic” is often buried underneath mental lists, endless tasks, and the pressure to make everything perfect. Between planning holiday dinners, making sure your kids have the right outfit for the school concert, coordinating family gatherings, remembering the Secret Santa gift, and still keeping up with work and home…winter quickly becomes less of a season and more of a marathon. And with all of that comes the familiar companion: mom guilt.

Navigating Holiday Transitions as a Family: Staying Grounded Before, During, and After the Season
The holiday season is in full swing, and holiday transitions can feel like a full-body experience for families. The season arrives in stages planning, gathering, traveling, unwinding each with its own blend of joy, pressure, overstimulation, and emotional complexity. Kids feel these transitions too, often more intensely, which means many parents find themselves managing two layers of needs: their child’s nervous system and their own. This article offers simple ways to stay steady throughout the full arc of the season: before, during, and after the holidays.

How to Start Advocating for Your Child at Any Age or Stage
Whether your baby was born early or full-term, parenting is a constant process of discovery. Even now, six years after I gave birth to my daughter, I tell her, “Sweetie, you and mommy are both learning on the job.” Some children hit their milestones effortlessly. Others need a little (or a lot) of extra support along the way. What matters most isn’t where your child starts; it’s how you respond when they need someone in their corner. Whether you’re navigating challenges now or simply want to feel more confident supporting your child in the future, this blog is for you. Advocating for your child isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about being prepared to ask questions, trust your instincts, and show up in ways that will help your child flourish.
